Short-form documentaries shot and edited while volunteering with Red de Pueblos Trasnacionales, a non-profit supporting Latin American indigenous immigrant communities. The series centers indigenous women's voices and captures community life through recurring workshops and seasonal events.
My connection to the organization grew from my interests in indigenous cultures of Latin America. Being an immigrant myself with trilingual ability, I’m translating their stories through my visual language, while exloring a deeper understanding of community bonds in a big city.
